Who are Staffordshire Kitchens & Granite (SKG)

SKG is an SME specialising in fitting "Quality Crafted Kitchens at Affordable Prices". 

How our relationship began

Mitch Lawrence (MD) wanted to take SKG to the next level of sales and read my most recent book "How to Get More Customers From Your Website... Even if you think you've tried everything!".  Mitch immediately saw how the ideas in the book could apply to his business and asked me to help.

A snippet of my contribution

Business-to-consumer can often benefit substantially from sharp messaging and clear offers made to a targeted audience.  This is where my work with Mitch began - to create a clear message to the consumer and make it compelling through offers.  The task of getting the messaging right required me to develop a 'tone of voice' for the business which was friendly, clear, and approachable and gave the reader a strong feeling that their home improvement project was in safe hands.  Once the messaging was clear we could expand on it in letters, emails and on the website.  I aligned all the marketing collateral and established a sequence of offers and campaigns designed to increase lead generation.

As an example of this, our Black Friday promotion was a hit increasing sales leads by over 130% on the previous month and our January campaign has increased sales by a further 80% on the previous year.

In addition, I've also halved the AdWords spend without affecting the number of clicks and doubled the number of conversions.

As a natural consequence of our work, I have helped Mitch release more of his time to dedicate to sales and marketing and assisted with the implementation of numerous business systems which have helped improve efficiency and working practices across the organisation.

I continue to work with Mitch driving additional sales and revenue through the marketing campaigns.
